Pythagorio is maybe the most cosmopolitical village on Samos due to its famous yacht harbour.
In summertime you will find here yachts from all over the world and in all sizes.
You can enjoy the view sitting in a bar at the 2500 year old port or have a swim at the surrounding beaches, three of which are awarded with the blue flag of the european union.
Pythagorio offers a lot of nightlife with its bars and nightclubs and of course shops and tavernas for any taste.
Many of Samos' 4- and the only 5-star hotel are located in this area.
Inside the village in sumertime it can be pretty noisy. In general the south coast is much hotter than the north in summertime.
